iSpring Iron and Manganese Reducing Replacement Filter Cartridge - 10x4.5 High Capacity

The iSpring FM15B is a powerful iron & manganese reducing filter, specifically designed to effectively remove iron (from a maximum of 3.0 ppm down to 0.01 ppm) and manganese (from a maximum of 1.0 ppm down to 0.01 ppm) in order to improve water quality and protect family health. This filter is compatible with the iSpring whole house water filtration system WGB21BM, as well as most whole house systems that use 10" x4.5" filters.

With higher linear velocities compared to conventional media, the iSpring FM15B delivers efficient performance, resulting in high flow rates and very low pressure drop. The feed water pressure ranges from 20 to 100 psi, with a pressure impact of up to 5 psi drop at a flow rate of 8 GPM. The flow rate is between 4 - 8 GPM.

The filter offers excellent stability and durability, maintaining stable performance within a wider pH range of 5.8 - 8.6 and temperature range of 40 - 113°F. It lasts up to 3 times longer than green sand filters due to the catalytic media not being consumed in the process, with a filter life of 30,000 gallons at a 3.0 ppm iron level.
