The ideal water filter system includes a sediment filter as the first stage to remove larger particles of dirt or sediment before they can reach and clog your finer filters and appliances. The WSP-Series aims to fulfill this role by offering stainless steel mesh in various micron sizes, allowing you to control what size particles are allowed to pass into your home or subsequent filters. This preventative measure helps avoid clogging finer filters you may already have in place. Additionally, the WSP includes siliphos, a powerful anti-scale and corrosion agent. Siliphos is a water treatment compound made of a glass-like Polyphosphate containing Sodium, Calcium Magnesium, and Silicate, specifically designed to tackle water issues. The 1-inch outlet MNPT fitting provides a maximum flow rate of 20 GPM, while the WSP-Series also features 3/4 inch NPT threads on the inlet and outlet.

The WSP series serves as an ideal initial water filter for residential homes, effectively reducing sediment, rust, dirt, sand, and large particles before they enter a more advanced whole house water filtration system. Including Siliphos in the filter helps prevent scale formation and corrosion, significantly prolonging the life of your plumbing fixtures. It is advised to replace the filter every 3-6 months to prevent scale buildup. With double threads on both ends (1-inch MNPT and 3/4 inch FNPT) and a flush out valve with a garden hose barb fitting, the WSP Series provides easy visual monitoring with its see-through housing.
